another option for one of the best meal in soho for (around) ten dollars is "Jack's Wife Freda" (yes that's the name) 224 Lafayette Street (between Kenmare St & Cleveland Pl) Super cute cafe. Laid back service. Fresh simple and delicious food. It's kinda like "South African Israeli Jewish Grandma Cuisine" Green tomatoes, deep-friend panko fish balls, matzo-ball soup, crisp skinned half chicken, and a Jack's Burger with hand cut fries. Also go for brunch and try the duck bacon!
