The Salon at Per Se is now offering a five-course dessert-tasting menu for $65. The line-up of sweets made by pastry chef Elwyn Boyles changes daily and the options are also available al a carte. Grub Street says yesterday's menu included poached meringue with coriander ice cream, coffee and doughnuts and "popcorn cola." Other items included white grapefruit consomme and vanilla pancakes with blueberries. The slightly more casual salon area at Per Se doesn't accept reservations. This five-course dessert menu is offered only in the Salon. Sounds like a sweet deal. Per Se: 10 Columbus Circle, Broadway, at W. 60th St.
