For the best Italian style brunch in the east village check out Paprika. 110 St. Marks Pl (between 1st Ave & Avenue A) Step into Paprika on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and try one of the many amazing dishes on the brunch menu. The celebrated and ever-so-popular whipped green eggs is a healthy and unconventional dish which invites new flavor into your life. Green eggs adapt their vibrant color from the use of pesto which is fused with the eggs and whipped to perfection, then served atop a soft polenta. The addition of salsa cruda, which is a medley of fresh tomatoes, peppers, onions, parsley and seasoning gives the dish a unique taste that is better than even Dr. Seuss' imagination. At Paprika, you can try their fluffy pancakes with decadent fruit toppings, including caramelized apples. The pancakes are also available as part of Paprika's prix fixe brunch, served with a beverage of your choice: Bellini (peach nectar fused with prosecco) or a mimosa (orange juice and prosecco). These dishes will do much more than satisfy your palette and there is a new adventure in every bite.

i like Care Orlin as the best brunch in the east village. 41 St. Marks Pl (between 2nd Ave & 1st Ave) t's under the radar, low-key and most dishes are $12 and under. Pumpkin pancakes with some Canadian bacon, or the Tunisian Breakfast - eggs sunny-side up with home fries, pita and some sort of spicy relish. The pumpkin pancakes came with cinnamon yogurt on top with a twist of orange on the side. I like the pumpkin pancakes as there were light and fluffy. The bacon was good as I expected. Eggs were tasty. The home fries were like nothing we had before!
