      Great place to live if you want to raise a family in New York City. The park is there and there are plenty of families in the new buildings. @battery park living

      You are right by the water and a long waterfront area to walk/jog which is really nice. The downside is that it's a very corporate area meaning most of the restaurants/bars/stores are new and their chains. So the area doesn't have the soul like living the other areas of NYC have. Also after working hours it's pretty dead around Battery Park. "

      living in battery park is good for people in their 40s with children. not that great for anyone looking for good restaurants or nightlife - the area is kind of a wasteland on that front. it has a lovely waterfront park area though. "
